  • Saturday March 6th 2021, “Crop Circles, Sacred Geometry and Synchronicity ” Lecture by Karen Alexander (Via Zoom)

Nights of Crop Circling, The Long Versions, featuring Karen Alexander

For the past 6 years, we have been doing “A Night of Crop Circling” in the middle of the crop cirlcle season. Every time we had 6 speakers that could do a talk of just 20 minutes. Now, in these dark times we decided to lighten life up a bit by giving these speakers the chance to do a full lecture. Crop Circles are a welcome distraction from the madness of the world we live in. Tonight’s talk is by Karen Alexander.

    Karen Alexander
Karen Alexander is a long time circles researcher of over 30 years (1990-present day) who has for many years brought a thoughtful and introspective touch to researching the crop circles. A highly respected and influential speaker and writer, her work seamlessly fuses sacred art, spirituality, psychology and philosophy – the scholarly and the intuitive. Karen is perhaps best known as the writer behind the annually published Crop Circle Year Books (1999 – 2019) and Crop Circles: Signs, Wonders & Mysteries (Arcturus, 2006 & updated in 2009 & 2013). She is also known for her hand drawn images and paintings of the crop circles which are widely admired and collected. Karen has a background in counselling and psychotherapy and has facilitated and taken part in a number of groups and projects over the last 20 years looking specifically into crop circles and their connection with consciousness. She also runs the annual Temporary Temples Crop Circle Conference. More information on Karen Alexander and her work can be found at: https://temporarytemples.co.uk/

Crop Circles, Sacred Geometry and Synchronicity
In this talk Karen will discuss two of the major components of the crop circle phenomenon – Sacred Geometry & Synchronicity. Both are often quoted by researchers and enthusiasts, but what do we really know about them and what can they really tell us about the phenomenon? Karen will also discuss her own method for working with the formations, and will discuss why we might need to slow-down, stop chasing the circles and actually spend sometime with them. The circles appear each summer like gifts from the Gods – but what do we actually do with them?! How can we turn our passive response to the formations into an active and positive response, how do we take the deep feelings and emotions the circles evoke within us and actually begin work with them?

  • Saturday, April 24th 2021 “Barbury Castle at 30: Circular Memories from a Forgotten Future” Lecture by Simon Miles (Via Zoom)

Nights of Crop Circling, The Long Versions, featuring Simon Miles
For the past 6 years, we have been doing “A Night of Crop Circling” in the middle of the crop cirlcle season. Every time we had 6 speakers that could do a talk of just 20 minutes. Now, in these dark times we decided to lighten life up a bit by giving these speakers the chance to do a full lecture. Crop Circles are a welcome distraction from the madness of the world we live in. A few years back Simon Miles gave a mindblowing talk on the crop circles surrounding Barbury Castle in just 20 minutes. Now he has a whole evening for his lecture, prepare to be blown away.

    Crop Circles, 30 years on
This year is the 30th anniversary of the appearance of the 1991 Barbury Castle crop circle, an event which marked a major turning point in the evolution of the phenomena. In this talk, Simon Miles takes a deep-dive into circle lore, with a particular focus on the extraordinary circumstances surrounding this seminal design. His unique analysis of the Barbury Castle glyph shows that it was part of a fascinating sequence of closely-related circles extending over decades, a result with far-reaching implications for understanding the origins and purpose of the mystery. Including materials never before shared in public, this presentation will change the way you view the topic no matter what your perspective. Guaranteed to be controversial, thought-provoking and entertaining, this is a talk not to be missed.

    Simon Miles
Simon Miles is an independent researcher and writer living in the UK. He has been observing the crop circle phenomenon for more than 30 years. His debut giving lectures about crop circles was at the Bases Conference in 2015 in Marlborough Wiltshire UK. This talk featuring several crop circles that appeared around Barbury Castle was utterly amazing. In 2016 Simon gave a short version of this talk at our Night of Crop Circling in Alton Barnes. The audience was blown away.

  • Saturday February 20th 2021, “We made Magic Modern” Lecture by Geraldine Beskin (Via Zoom)

Magic is the basis for some of the most common spiritual practices. For example the well known practice of laying the Tarot, the performing of rituals, meditation, mediumship etc. Magicians in the early 1900’s acquired their knowledge by studying, practicing and experimenting with centuries old esoteric and occult knowledge. Their successors took their body of work and prepared it for our day and age.

Geraldine Beskin comes from a family of magicians and is one of the worlds leading experts on magic. Together with her daughter Bali she owns the worlds best bookshop on magic, The Atlantis Bookshop in London. Her family has been running this mecca of magic for over 60 years. It is an institution in the heart of London, just a stonethrow away from The British Museum in Museumstreet.

Geraldine has been fortunate to know some of the people she will be speaking about. They were the teachers and authors who updated the language and attitudes towards magic and took it from the Medieval and Victorian times through the Swinging Sixties and beyond. Dion Fortune, Kenneth Grant, and Aleister Crowley are all mentioned but please note, Geraldine is too young to have known this illustrious threesome although she has often been asked if she did! As a bookseller, Geraldine has been able to collect some early editions of their books and will be showing them during the presentation. She won’t be telling you who was a drunk or who chased women but will definitely bring them to life for you.

This lecture will introduce you to magic and the magicians of the past century. It will be interesting for those who are already in the know about magic as well as those who are new to the field. Being involved with magic and magicians for most of her life, Geraldine has a valuable body of knowledge to share.

  • Saturday February 6th 2021, “Investigating the Details Within Crop Circles at Ground Level” Lecture by Dan Vidler (Via Zoom)

Nights of Crop Circling, The Long Versions, featuring Dan Vidler

For the past 6 years, we have been doing “A Night of Crop Circling” in the middle of the crop cirlcle season. Every time we had 6 speakers that could do a talk of just 20 minutes. Now, in these dark times we decided to lighten life up a bit by giving these speakers the chance to do a full lecture. Crop Circles are a welcome distraction from the madness of the world we live in.

    Dan Vidler
Dan Vidler has been investigating and photographing the interiors of crop circles since 2003, documenting the finer details within the laid crop and reporting on significant features at ground level. Close inspection of laid stems and details within formations often reveals unique, surprising and mysterious aspects of the phenomenon, reflecting the beauty and majesty seen from an aerial perspective but which might go unnoticed to all but the keenest observer.

Dan Vidler and his research team

Investigating the Details Within Crop Circles at Ground Level
“Having investigated the interiors of crop circles for 18 consecutive seasons, visiting many formations each summer, my understanding of this phenomenon has moved further and further from any definitive ‘answer’ or even theory about the possible origins of these incredible patterns which continue to delight and mystify us. With each passing year, however, I feel increasingly certain that a large proportion of them are not and simply cannot be made by groups of people stomping around in dark fields with planks of wood.
The evidence I present as I document the details within crop circles is far from conclusive, but I believe that, at the very least, it reveals another layer of magic present in the creation of the formations; another element which, like the wonderful geometry, accuracy and sheer beauty of nearly every crop circle, cannot be explained.
The fine details, which often remain unseen, are not only intriguing but spark curiosity and raise the ever rhetorical question: How can that be possible?
To be clear from the outset, this presentation will not answer that question, but many remarkable examples from crop circles over many years’ research might just make all of us ask it again!”
    Dan Vidler
In this lecture, Dan will give an overview of the best features he found in all of his nearly 20 years of investigating crop circles.

  • Saturday January 30th 2021 “The Pineal Gland, our Cosmic Antenna”, lecture By dr. Saskia Bosman PhD. (Via Zoom)

Talk with images and experiential work by dr. Saskia Bosman PhD, biologist from The Netherlands.

The Pineal Gland, our cosmic antenna, interface between inside and outside
How can you deploy your pineal gland for your well-being and inner growth? This lecture is about a very small but important gland in the centre of your brain. The pineal gland is the interface between inside and outside. This gland plays a powerful role in our well-being and consciousness. In this lecture an explanation will be given how the pineal gland works and how you can stimulate your own well-being.

In this talk the following will be discussed:

-The pineal gland as an interface between your body and environment:

    • The communication of the pineal gland with our nervous system and senses.
    • Evolution of the pineal gland as a third eye and multifaceted organ of perception.
    • The possible role of the crystals inside the pineal gland cells as transmitters and receivers.

    – The biology of the pineal gland:

    • Where in the brain is your pineal gland?
    • The production of hormones and what they do.

    – The pineal gland in well-being, recovery and consciousness:

    • Calcification and decalcification of the pineal gland.
    • The deployment of the pineal gland for stimulating your self-healing power by means of meditative exercises.
    • The pineal gland hormones facilitate different states of consciousness.
    • Knowledge about the pineal gland in ancient and modern cultures.
    • The pineal gland as your cosmic antenna.

You will experience some of the content of this talk by some simple techniques which support the functioning of your pineal gland and your well-being.

The talk itself is fascinating and gives you a preview of Saskia’s pineal gland workshops in which we will do a lot of experiential work.

Dr. Saskia Bosman PhD is a biologist and independent researcher, also interested in astrophysics and astrobiology.  Since over 40 years Saskia delves deeply into the human being, especially DNA, cells, the brain, consciousness and evolution in the context of the Earth and the Cosmos. Saskia, as a biomedical scientist, offers her talks, workshops and spiritual nature tours based on her scientific interest, knowledge and experience in the relationship between body and mind, purposefully connecting matter and consciousness.
